Story of Prophet Yusuf A.S. has taught me a lot of things about life. A lot of challenges will come in our lives, how we face and tackle it, how patient we are with what Allah azza wa jal has decreed for us is what determines our Imaan (faith) in Allah (swt.
This story has always been a source of comfort for me. It doesn't only teach us about sibling rivalry or jealousy, it also teaches us how we have to be patient with the decree of Allah, only He (swt) knows the unseen and our future.
To teach my children about this story in a friendly manner, I created pictures and we stuck this up on as a poster, while doing this, we talked about each incident Prophet Yusuf A.S. went through from the dream he saw and how Allah (swt) fulfilled his dream. We also watched story of Prophet Yusuf A.S. from YouTube.
