Good Deeds Tree

"This is my car", "no it's mine"...do you experience the same? Or if you ask one of your child to bring you a glass of water he/she is like "aah mummy am so tired..please tell so and so? and if you tell so and so he goes like "am tired too mum?" This was the story at home.

Do you experience the same at home? Why not try your hands on Good Deeds Tree?

I stumbled on this while going through one of the homeschooling blogs. I can't remember which one, but I really appreciate the effort of the sister and may Allah bless her and all the other homeschooling parents. Ameen.

I am sure this won't happen after you try a good deeds tree. Alhamdulillah, my boys now rush to complete a task given to them so that they can earn a good deed leaf and Alhamdulillah I have noticed a big of change in them, be it behaviour or when it comes to sharing their things with each other. MashAllah.

Of course later on you can then concentrate on giving them leaves for more better deeds than fetching you a glass of water, like when they do their salaah on time, or complete their homework on specific time limit.

I just made mine with a simple brown paper that we use for covering books, cut it in the shape of a tree and pasted it on manilla card and this is how it looked like.

I pasted a little envelope which contains the leaves. This makes it easier for other family members to award them while I am not around.

And in a few minutes it started bearing leaves Alhamdulillah!
